2022 Swapping Ebb for Muy

This year started off with a trip to Llangadog and Careg Cennen Castle in Wales. This was also the year that Dee and Phil sold our boat, Ebb, and bought a strange looking camper that they called Muy - do you remember I mentioned this a while ago?

Castle Rising, Norfolk

Well this is Muy, short for Muy Caro, which means very expensive in Spanish! We picked him up in Wales and spent a few days there before returning home. Muy was to feature a lot in the rest of my life.

Our trips away now involved Muy, which meant that we could go away for weeks in comfort. It had its own heating and I had just enough floor space for my bed.

On this years visit to Fairways I was only met by Scamp.

Here you can meet Lolly, who I had to look after

2021 Snow, peaks, boats and buses

This year started with more snow, quite deep as well. I had to double up with my orange fleece and waterproof to keep warm.

Phil went on a Mountain Training course in the Lakes and we stayed nearby. The next day we went out together.

I seemed to mould myself between the rocks!

This year we had our usual mix of outdoor adventures as well visiting my friends Franny and Scamp.

Apparently this was painted by Banksy - who's he?

Scamp didn't seem to mind me sharing his bed!

This Christmas we visited Stair in the northern part of The Lakes. We had our usual mix of weather and had some great fun.

This is me on top of Cat Bells

Its always lovely to be tucked in under my blanket after a hard day.

2020 Winter in Grasmere

This winter we returned to Grasmere in The Lakes and this time we had some snow, lovely! I hoped we could go and play up there, and we did, here are some pics.

Sometimes I would get a tiny bit of tea in my water!

2020 camping in Cumbria and the Isle of Arran

We left home and headed north to The Lakes, this time staying at Nether Wasdale near Wast Water. We didn't hike up Scafell Pike, partly because the route was too stony for my feet and also because it was quite busy. So we picked a different route away from the crowds, which I loved as you can see below.

The grass was so soft up here I just had to jump about!

This is me at full pelt in the sand

We then travelled further north via a ferry to the Isle of Arran where Phil and Dee were married and camped at Lochranza amongst loads of Red Deer.

There must be a rabbit out there somewhere

Nearly there I think!

I had to be carried over some large rocks before we reached the summit.

The summit of Goat Fell at 874 metres

Time for a well earned rest

And another!

And again, tucked up in the tent
